Whether you’re making the final call on a tough staffing decision, or lying awake at 3 am ticking through your to-do list, there are many parts of leadership that are intensely isolating.  You need a partner who can help get you unblocked and take the action that will move you and your company forward.

When you’re stuck, you can become paralyzed with self-doubt, imposters syndrome and trust issues.  Without a true understanding of your obstacle, you can busy yourself by spinning in circles without making any forward progress. You may find yourself avoiding the problem, hoping it will solve itself, or magically disappear. I help you find the courage to take action. My years of experience as a therapist for leaders, an executive coach, and a people leader myself help me to see the not-so-obvious reasons you’re stuck.  We’ll create a plan to move out of overwhelm and find the workability in each situation. 

Through our work together, you will learn your own strengths and see your wisdom, as well as gain and understanding of your blind spots and areas for growth.  I believe it is both possible and necessary for coaches to be compassionate, understanding, direct, and able to hold their clients accountable—even when it’s hard or uncomfortable.

I believe the best leaders are self-aware, introspective, and cognizant of their sore spots. This is no small task—it requires the work of learning who we are, and learning how we affect those around us. My coaching is relational. I don’t have you take a million personality tests or read a bunch of leadership books. Instead, I talk to you about your biggest challenges as a leader, and we walk through where you get stuck, what’s coming up for you when you get uncomfortable or overwhelmed, and we figure out a way to approach the situation differently. We reframe impossible problems, figure out what’s so triggering about that one employee, or understand why you just can’t get started on that big project. We find your grounding so you can approach the situation with fresh eyes and a novel approach.
